In recent years, China has become a global leader in promoting and supporting South-South cooperation against climate change, demonstrated by its national policies and involvement in multilateral negotiations. Given the millions of lives at stake, addressing climate change is one of the most important challenges facing the international community and requires forming strong partnerships in which South-South cooperation necessarily plays a pivotal role.
